At L’Arche Antigonish, Core Members are at the heart of our organization. A Core Member is a person with an intellectual disability. At L’Arche, we choose to use language that best describes the relationships that are lived and experienced in our community.
Funding to live in one of our homes or attend one of our day programs is provided by the Government of Nova Scotia. When a vacancy is available in one of our homes, L’Arche Antigonish works in unison with the Department of Opportunities and Social Development to fill the space.
